Connect Us
‘Connect Us’ has been launched by Public Health with an underpinning objective of positive wellbeing interventions. Working with your local connector can serve as that missing link for you to access the things you need in order for you to move forward and look to achieve your aspirations.
Connectors work on what is ‘strong and not what is wrong’ and look how you may want to develop your potential. We are not here to interfere or try to fix people!
However, we DO try to help to unearth gifts and talents. Community members working with Connect Us have re-sparked old interests and shared that they have rediscovered what motivates them.
If you are feeling isolated, wanting to make changes to your current situation or just feel you have something to offer to your neighbourhood. Community Connectors can visit you in your own home or in a place that is comfortable to you. We can explore the best ways to link in with local services and activities, at the speed of trust! The aim is to work with you to see just how you want to go about expanding your networks, knowledge of your local area and feel part of and socially connected within your community.
We currently door knock and work across Birkenhead, Tranmere, Rockferry, Eastham, Bromborough, New Ferry, Prenton, Oxton, Noctorum, Woodchurch, Upton, Overchurch, Wallasey, New Brighton, Seacome, Leasowe, Moreton and Saughall Massie.
