Drop-In Advocacy Service
During this first Drop-In Advocacy session you will meet with one of our Domestic Abuse Advocates who will listen to your experiences and gain an understanding of your needs.
They will risk-assess your situation and work with you to understand your challenges, choices, strengths, and protective factors in developing a safety plan. They will explain processes that may happen with each choice that is presented, and will aim to go at your pace.
Once you have attended the first Drop-in session you can attend the Centre for ongoing Advocacy throughout your recovery journey and access our programmes and groups.

Reset and Recharge
Reset and Recharge is an opportunity to switch off from daily stresses and take part in mindful craft activities whilst accessing support from peers.
Lighthouse Coffee Mornings
Lighthouse ‘Got the T-shirt’ coffee mornings are supported by volunteers and regular clients who have ‘Been there and got the t-shirt’. It is a chance to have a cuppa and a chat with those who have recovered from an abusive relationship and are ready to share their experiences to support others in moving forward.
Ongoing Support
The Lotus Programme is a series of four 2-hour sessions for you to gain an understanding of domestic abuse and how it affects you. By identifying types of domestic abuse, how they work within relationships, and where you are on your journey, we hope to support you to make safe decisions about your next steps.
This short course aims to support you in increasing your self-esteem, identifying relationship red flags, establishing predictive safeguarding strategies, and becoming aware of local agencies, networks, and legal support.
