On Saturday 28th February, Connectors Andrew and Dee attended Wirral CVS’s FestiVOL event at The Hive in Birkenhead. The event celebrated volunteers from across the Wirral with a day dedicated to recognising their contribution to local communities.
It was a fantastic opportunity to speak with people from a wide range of organisations and connect with volunteers who give their time to support others across the borough. We also managed to get involved in some of the crafts on offer, which made for a fun and relaxed atmosphere throughout the day.
Thank you to Wirral CVS for hosting such a positive event celebrating the incredible work of volunteers.
