Board Chair

Alan has extensive experience as a Senior Police Leader, with over 30 years experience in two of the UK’s largest and busiest Police forces. Before retiring from the force and establishing himself as a Senior Risk Consultant, Alan was operating at the executive level and specialising in Counter-terrorism and Serious Organised Crime.

He is passionate about engaging and helping our community and being able to share his experience and skills with a fantastic organisation such as Involve. Alan is keen to bring knowledge and enthusiasm to the Chair for Involve Northwest role as we continually aim to improve our service.

Ultimately, his aim is to support our CEO to evolve the charity to meet future funding challenges whilst delivering an enhanced service to meet service user needs by utilising his experience of organisational change and risk management to shape our future.
