Shelly used to work for Involve Northwest as a Job Coach supporting individuals who are unemployed back into employment, by assisting them in breaking down any barriers that they may have. She has now taken the role of Lead Connector with the newly established Community Connectors.

Originally from North Yorkshire, Adam is new to Wirral and has really enjoyed getting to know the area! Having worked in cheffing and sales previously, he has successfully run online sales companies, as well as a family business selling natural horse-feed across the North of England.

Angie has worked for Involve Northwest for a total of five years, working as both a voluntary and paid mediator. In her new position as a community connector, she is looking forward to getting involved with the community and helping, in some way, to combat social isolation through door-knocking and speaking with local people.

Jayne Phennah

Jayne’s journey began as a full-time mum; looking after her children and claiming various benefits throughout the years. When her children started school, she became a volunteer at the St James’ Centre. With a passion for local history, she became involved with Flaybrick Memorial Gardens. Jayne is very passionate about Birkenhead, and believes that the local people are “the heart and soul of the place”.
