Judi Robinson is our client support and project administrator, working with the Welfare Benefit Team.

Before coming to work at Involve Northwest, she had been the project administrator at a residential drug/alcohol treatment facility, and then worked for a charity working with young people, and a charity also working with clients who had drug and alcohol issues. Judi was attracted to the post at Involve Northwest because it offered a great deal of face to face contact with clients, and she had some experience of the welfare benefit system.

Originally, Judi worked at the office in Church Road which was a shop, and Involve Northwest had a very good rapport with the local community, including neighbouring shops. Two years ago she moved to Royal Standard House, which is a completely different setting, and although this was at first quite daunting, she now absolutely love being in such a vibrant and busy setting. Recently Judi have spent less days on reception and more in the actual welfare benefits office, which has become more and more busy with all the challenges that have come with the all the recent welfare benefit changes.

Judi work with a team of three advisors, offering support to clients needing help with their disability benefits, from general advice to completing forms and following this through to appealing a decision where necessary. The team has an excellent success rate and we have received lots of positive feedback from clients we have helped.
